How to Ace a phone interview?

E '7: 45 am, you're still in pajamas, and the phone rings. The time has come for an interview. It seems normal, right?

Telephone interviews are increasing. Why? Simply, it is cheap and is an easy way for the director of recruiting candidates of the screen effectively. It takes more time and money – particularly for out-of-town – a personality interview candidates.

If you are looking for a job, you are better than one prepared in a telephone interview. It ishappen, whether you like it or not. After hundreds of phone interviews, I can tell candidates to make many mistakes. If you're thinking, the biggest is that you happen to sound pretty boring.

Losing a lot of personality when talking on the phone to meet someone in person. When it comes to the fact that people tend to be more serious in an interview that under normal circumstances, the problem will worsen. Here are some tips to crack the following telephoneMaintenance:

1. Get your game face.

I am not suggesting that you sit on three dresses, but they are not sitting there in sweatpants and a T-shirt. Waking up early, bathe and dress decently.

2. Talk in advance

There's nothing worse than to pick up the phone and says hello, and sounds like Peter goes through puberty at The Brady Bunch. Morning interview, be sure to have spoken a few sentences high (to yourself, your spouse or even yourdog) before the time of interview.

3. Go old school – talking about a landline

It can be difficult for some of you, but will certainly have a landline phone. Preferably a continuous line (remember them). I've seen people mobile phones are dead or with severe static that we had to cut the call short. Not a good way to go. Also, you're in a quiet environment. Cafes, parks or bus to the resort is ideal not interviewing. Notconcentrated, and you can hear all the noises.

4. All Word animated

I mentioned above, telephone interviews tend to be boring. Why? I saw the twinkle in his eyes, and I can not smile or a nod that you make a catch. You are a bit 'nervous to start, so you come off as repetitive and less personality.

Here's what to do. Get excited! Stand up, speak with your hands and a smile of chalk. It seems absurd, but it will work (just make sure that nobody isRoom with you – you look like a fool). If you can not find one of them, Janet Jackson, headphones, even better. Use both hands when you speak. You can think of going to sea, but when it comes to hand, seems much more attractive and interesting. Helps you to come to life.

Telephone interviews can work to your advantage – if not their duty.
